File Transfer

Step 1: Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network
  • Ensure both your mobile device and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This ensures seamless communication between devices.
Step 2: Launch AirDisk and Enable File Transfer
  1. Open the AirDisk app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the Sync cached button and select wifi WiFi File Transfer.”
Step 3: Access via Web Browser
  1. AirDisk will display an IP address (e.g., http://192.168.x.x:8080).
  2. Enter this IP address into your computer's web browser and press Enter.
Step 4: Transfer Files
  • To Upload Files to Your Mobile Device: Drag and drop files into the web browser interface.
  • To Download Files to Your Computer: Select files from the web interface and click Download.

Sharing files between two mobile devices in AirDisk is quick and easy. Here's how to do it:

Step 1: Open AirDisk on Both Devices
  • Launch the AirDisk app on both devices.
Step 2: Enable Nearby File Sharing
  • Tap the Sync cached button on both devices and select sensors Nearby File Sharing.
Step 3: Set One Device as Receiver and the Other as Sender
  1. On the receiver device, select Receiver.
  2. On the sender device, select Sender.
Step 4: Establish Connection
  • On the sender device, wait for nearby devices to be detected and tap the desired receiver device.
Step 5: Select and Send Files
  • Once connected, tap Select File on the sender device, choose the files to send, and click Send.
Step 6: Complete the Transfer
  • After the transfer completes, tap Disconnect to terminate the sharing session.

With these steps, you can seamlessly share files between two devices using AirDisk!

File Operations

Organizing your files in AirDisk is simple. Follow these steps to create a new folder:

Step 1: Access the New Folder Option
  1. Open the AirDisk app.
  2. Tap the add button located at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the New Folder folder option from the menu.
Step 2: Name Your Folder
  1. A prompt will appear. Enter a name for your folder.
  2. Tap Save to confirm.

Now you have a new folder ready to help you organize your files in AirDisk!

Deleting files or folders in AirDisk is simple, but note that deleted items cannot be recovered. Here's how:

Step 1: Enter Selection Mode
  • Open the AirDisk app.
  • Tap the more_horiz button at the top and choose Select check_circle to enable selection mode.
  • OR
  • Long-press on a file or folder to directly enter selection mode.
Step 2: Select Items to Delete
  • Tap on the files or folders you wish to delete.
Step 3: Confirm Deletion
  • Tap the Delete delete button.
  • Confirm the action by tapping the Delete confirmation button.

Important: Once confirmed, the deleted items cannot be retrieved. Be sure before you delete!

Renaming files or folders in AirDisk is quick and easy. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Enter Selection Mode
  • Open the AirDisk app.
  • Tap the more_horiz button at the top and choose Select check_circle to enable selection mode.
  • OR
  • Long-press on a file or folder to directly enter selection mode.
Step 2: Rename the File or Folder
  • Tap the Pencil edit icon that appears at the side of each file or folder.
  • Enter the new name for your file or folder.
Step 3: Save and Exit
  • Tap the Save button to confirm the new name.
  • Tap Done to exit selection mode.

With these simple steps, you can keep your files and folders organized in AirDisk!

Organizing files and folders in AirDisk is easy with the move or copy feature. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Enter Selection Mode
  • Open the AirDisk app.
  • Tap the more_horiz button at the top and choose Select check_circle to enable selection mode.
  • OR
  • Long-press on a file or folder to directly enter selection mode.
Step 2: Choose Items to Copy or Move
  • Select the files or folders you want to copy or move.
Step 3: Choose Action
  • Tap the Menu tooltip button at the bottom center.
  • Select Copy file_copy to duplicate.
  • OR
  • Select Move folder to relocate.
Step 4: Select Destination
  • A folder selection screen will appear. Navigate to the target folder.
Step 5: Complete the Action
  • Tap the Move or Copy button to finalize.

Your selected items will now be moved or copied to the new location!

View Mode

AirDisk allows you to customize how files and folders are displayed and sorted. Here's how you can switch between different view modes and sorting options:

Changing View Modes
  1. Tap the more_horiz button at the top.
    • Choose Icon view_cozy for a grid-style view.
    • Choose Detail view_agenda for a detailed list with file information.
    • Choose List list for a minimal file list view.
Sorting Files
  1. Tap the more_horiz button at the top.
    • Choose Sort Name for ascending order by name. Tap again to sort descending.
    • Choose Sort Date for ascending order by modification date. Tap again to sort descending.
    • Choose Sort Kind for ascending order by file type. Tap again to sort descending.
    • Choose Sort Size for ascending order by file size. Tap again to sort descending.

These options make it easy to find and organize files in the way that works best for you!

If you need to access hidden files in AirDisk, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Access the Dashboard
  • Open the AirDisk app.
  • Tap on the Dashboard list_alt button located at the bottom left of the screen.
Step 2: Open Settings
  • From the Dashboard, tap on Settings settings.
Step 3: Enable Hidden Files
  • Toggle the description Show Hidden File option to On.

Once enabled, hidden files will be visible, allowing you to manage them easily within the app.

Cloud Storage Integration

AirDisk makes it easy to link your cloud storage accounts for seamless file management. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Dashboard
  • Open the AirDisk app on your device.
  • Tap the Dashboard list_alt button at the bottom left of the screen.
Step 2: Add a Cloud Service
  • Tap the more_horiz button in the Storage section.
  • Choose your desired cloud service, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, FTP, or WebDAV.
Step 3: Log In and Authorize
  • Enter your login credentials for the selected cloud service.
  • Grant the necessary permissions to link your account.

Once connected, your cloud storage will be available for syncing and file management in AirDisk!

To store files in iCloud for syncing across multiple devices, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access Local Storage
  • Open the AirDisk app.
  • Make sure you're in local device storage by selecting Device at the top of the main screen.
  • OR
  • Tap the Dashboard list_alt button at the bottom left and select dns Local Storage in the Storage section.
Step 2: Enter Selection Mode
  • Tap the more_horiz button at the top and choose Select check_circle to enable selection mode.
  • OR
  • Long-press on a file or folder to directly enter selection mode.
Step 3: Choose Items to Copy or Move
  • Select the files or folders you want to copy or move.
Step 4: Choose Action
  • Tap the Menu tooltip button at the bottom center.
  • Select Copy file_copy to duplicate.
  • OR
  • Select Move folder to relocate.
Step 5: Select iCloud Destination
  • A folder selection screen will appear. Select iCloud, then navigate to the target folder.
  • Tap Copy or Move button to finalize.
Step 6: Access iCloud
  • You can select iCloud at the top of the main app screen.
  • OR
  • Tap the Dashboard list_alt button at the bottom left and select iCloud in the Storage section.

This will store your files in iCloud for syncing across your devices!
