Getting started

Set up AirDisk Pro and connect your first computer or tablet.

Install AirDisk Pro on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, then allow local network access when your device asks. That permission lets nearby browsers connect to the app over your own WiFi network.

AirDisk Pro transfers files directly across your local network. Put your phone and computer on the same WiFi network, then avoid guest networks or client isolation modes because they can block devices from seeing each other.

Start the transfer server inside AirDisk Pro and copy the address shown in the app. Open that address in a modern browser on your Mac, Windows PC, Chromebook, tablet, or another phone.

No desktop app is required. Any modern browser can open the AirDisk Pro address, upload files, download files, and manage supported folders while the mobile app is running.

Transfers

Move photos, videos, documents, folders, and media between devices.

Open the AirDisk Pro browser page, choose Upload, then select the files or folders you want to send. Keep the app open and your devices nearby until the transfer finishes.

Browse to the file or folder you want, then choose Download. Large folders may be prepared as an archive before downloading, so wait for the browser prompt to appear.

Yes. Select multiple photos or videos from the photo section or upload them from your computer in batches. For very large libraries, transfer in smaller groups to keep progress easier to track.

Keep both devices awake, check that they are still on the same WiFi, and try the transfer again. If the file is very large, move closer to the router or use a less congested network.

Troubleshooting

Fix connection, speed, permission, and browser issues.

Confirm that AirDisk Pro is open, the transfer server is turned on, and the browser address exactly matches the address in the app. Also check that VPNs, firewalls, or guest WiFi settings are not blocking local network traffic.

Make sure both devices are connected to the same WiFi network and that local network permission is enabled for AirDisk Pro in your device settings. Restarting the app and refreshing the browser usually resolves stale connections.

Use a strong WiFi signal, move closer to your router, close bandwidth-heavy apps, and avoid public or crowded networks. Large videos and folders naturally take longer than documents or small photos.

Mobile operating systems can pause network activity when an app is backgrounded or the screen locks. Keep AirDisk Pro open during big transfers and temporarily adjust auto-lock if needed.

Files and folders

Organize documents, rename items, and understand file locations.

Yes. Use folders to organize documents, downloads, media, and project files. You can create folders before uploading files or move files into folders after a transfer completes.

Yes. Open the file manager, choose the item, and use the available actions to rename, move, or delete it. Deleted files may not be recoverable, so check the selected item before confirming.

Files downloaded from the browser are saved by that browser, usually in the computer Downloads folder unless you choose another location. Files received on your phone are available inside AirDisk Pro or the location you selected.

AirDisk Pro is designed for common documents, photos, videos, music, archives, and project files. If a file cannot be previewed, you can still usually transfer it and open it with another compatible app.

Cloud storage

Connect cloud accounts and move files across storage services.

AirDisk Pro supports popular cloud and remote storage options such as iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, FTP, and WebDAV, depending on the app version and platform.

Yes. Connect the accounts you need, browse the source location, and copy or move files to the destination. Keep the app open until the operation completes, especially for large files.

Cloud providers may expire sessions or require a fresh login after password changes, security checks, or long periods of inactivity. Reconnect the account from AirDisk Pro to restore access.

AirDisk Pro is built around direct file management. Local WiFi transfers stay on your network, and connected cloud services use the provider connection you authorize in the app.

Security and privacy

Understand local transfers, access control, and safer sharing habits.

Local transfers happen between your devices on your own network while the AirDisk Pro server is running. For best privacy, use trusted WiFi networks and turn off the transfer server when you are finished.

Use caution on public networks because other devices may be on the same network. A personal hotspot, home WiFi, or trusted office network is usually better for sensitive files.

Stop the transfer server in AirDisk Pro or close the app. Once the server is off, browsers on the network can no longer use that local address to browse your files.

Share your device model, operating system version, AirDisk Pro version, the browser you used, and a short description of what happened. Avoid sending passwords, private files, or security codes.
