File Transfer

Connect to the same Wi-Fi network

  • Ensure both your mobile device and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Launch AirDisk and enable file transfer

  • Open the AirDisk app on your mobile device.
  • Tap Sync cached and select wifi WiFi File Transfer.

Access AirDisk from a web browser

  • AirDisk will display an address such as http://192.168.x.x:8080.
  • Enter this address into your computer browser and press Enter.

Transfer files

  • To upload files to your mobile device, drag files into the web browser upload box or click Upload upload_file.
  • To download files to your computer, select files in the web interface and click Download sim_card_download.

With these steps, you can manage files without cables or extra desktop software.

Open AirDisk on both devices

  • Launch the AirDisk app on both devices.

Enable nearby file sharing

  • Tap Sync cached on both devices and select sensors Nearby File Sharing.

Set the device roles

  • On the receiving device, select Receiver.
  • On the sending device, select Sender.

Connect, select, and send

  • On the sender device, choose the detected receiver device.
  • Tap Select File, choose the files to send, then tap Send.
  • After the transfer completes, tap Disconnect.

Access the new folder option

  • Open the AirDisk app.
  • Tap the add add button at the bottom of the screen.
  • Select New Folder create_new_folder from the menu.

Name your folder

  • Enter a name when the prompt appears.
  • Tap Save to confirm.

Enter selection mode

  • Tap the more more_horiz button at the top and choose Select check_circle, or long-press a file or folder.

Select and delete

  • Tap the files or folders you want to delete.
  • Tap Delete delete, then confirm the deletion.

Important: once confirmed, deleted items cannot be retrieved.

Rename and save

  • Tap the pencil edit icon beside the file or folder.
  • Enter the new name.

Select the items

View Mode

Change view modes

  • Tap the more more_horiz button at the top, then choose Icon view_cozy for a grid view, Detail view_agenda for a detailed list, or List list for a minimal file list.

Sort files

  • Use the more more_horiz menu to sort by Name, Date, Kind, or Size. Tap the sort option again to reverse the order.

Cloud Storage Integration

Access the dashboard

  • Open AirDisk on your device.

Add a cloud service

Log in and authorize

  • Enter your login credentials for the selected cloud service.
  • Grant the permissions needed to link the account.

Access local storage

  • Select Device at the top of the main screen, or open Dashboard list_alt and choose Local Storage dns.

Select items and choose an action

Choose iCloud as the destination

  • Select iCloud, navigate to the target folder, then tap Copy file_copy or Move folder.
  • You can later access iCloud from the top of the main screen or from the dashboard storage section.

Connect and start WiFi File Transfer

  • Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, then open AirDisk and select WiFi File Transfer wifi.

Open the browser interface

  • Enter the AirDisk address, such as http://192.168.x.x:8080, into your computer browser.

Download photos

  • Open the Photo photo_library section in the web interface.
  • Choose the album you want to transfer from.
  • Select the photos you want to download.
  • Click Download sim_card_download to save them to your computer.

The first time you transfer photos, allow photo access permissions. If connection problems appear, confirm both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network and that no firewall is blocking access.
